| After I graduated from college, I moved back to my parent's home in southern Indiana. While
working at a community theatre I met Ben Liebermann, an entrepreneur. We got to talking and eventually I ended
up in a partnership called Pronto Advertising Corporation. My title, Production Director, put me in charge of producing the media as well as the internal and control circuits for the advertising carrels we produced. By producing the media I mean writing the copy, taking the photos, getting the copy recorded on special tape, winding the tape into cassettes, then applying the synch tone to the tape and putting the slides in the proper order the the carousel. By producing the internal and control circuits, I mean literally designing and building the circuits that went between the tape deck and the slide projector. I had to research first surface mirrors and rear projection surfaces and design the interior of the projection boxes. |

Ben knew all about getting things fabricated as well as sales and promotion. I just made it work. Ben was a prolific entrepreneur, and by association, I was involved in a number of other projects from Footsie to Tire-Tote. I helped out where ever I could, photography, copy writing, layout, etc. |
